University Project - Online Identity

Below is a collection of work from my final university project. I chose to base this on how social media can negatively impact a young persons identity, particularly as they are still developing as people. I wanted to focus on how it can affect them both online and offline and after a lot of primary research narrowed it down to specific topics which seemed most prevalent. I chose this topic because it felt important to discuss as social media is such a big part of everybody's life. This work is not intended to come across as anti- social media, but simply to highlight some areas that we need to be reminded of. To create the final editorial prints I worked with lino and combined that with digital elements and layering to create depth. Throughout this project I experimented with different media and concepts which can be seen below.
